HA! The blue feels a little out of place with the more traditional, British Colonial style that I’m leaning more towards these days.Īny thoughts? Keep it blue or paint it white? Also, I’ve gone back and forth a bunch of times too about keeping or removing the brick wallpaper around the fireplace. I blogged about it not too long ago HERE, but truthfully, I feel like I may want to paint the fireplace back to white. The fireplace is still painted a light blue. Now I’ll just share a few more pictures of the rest of our living room. I’m loving this whole corner of our living room now. This painting really ties in great with the other pictures and frames. This painting is of my husband’s grandpa’s Ranch that he spent a lot of time at growing up. I also hung up this painting on the corner wall. I like that the whole look is very neutral, but not at all boring. I also mixed up the frames by using black, white, cream, and wood frames. I only had enough of the fabric to add to three of the frames. I absolutely love the pops of tropical print in my photo gallery. I used this same fabric to cover the stools in our kitchen ( Seen HERE) And then I just used the very last of the fabric scraps in my picture frames as mats. I picked up this black and white floral fabric as a souvenir from a trip to HAWAII. Something I like to do, and even blogged about in the past ( As seen HERE) is to use fabric as photo mats.

How adorable is this next picture of my husband Jake when he was just little, cuddled up and taking a nap with his grandpa.

I actually down sized quite a bit and donated a lot of the art and extra wall hangings that didn’t really mean that much to us to a local thrift store.Īll of the photos that are hanging up are really special to our family. Well anyway, after I took all of the art and pictures down from the sunroom I needed a new place to hang them and so that is how this new gallery wall in our living room came to be. I actually Love my son’s room, it’s super cool. Well since then, my oldest son was wanting his own room and so we moved him into that room, and therefore all of the art needed to come down to be replaced with purple walls and string lights. So remember when I covered the walls in our Office/Sunroom with pictures and Art? It was so much fun. I’ve recently added a new photo gallery wall in our living room and wanted to share it with you today. They are fun to look at and tell so many stories.
